Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology
The Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology has provided an unblemished academic and medico legal service. The department has a distinction of being the first to conduct medico legal autopsies, amongst private medical colleges (under Santosh University).
The department trains 100 M.B.B.S. students for three semesters in the areas of forensic medicine and toxicology, medical negligence, medical ethics and forensic pathology. Lectures, tutorials and practical classes for M.B.B.S. students, which amount to more than a 100 hours per year, are conducted by this department.

13th of February, 2012, Virginia Lynch from University of South Carolina USA was invited to deliver a lecture on Role of Forensic Medicine in crime investigation (doctors & nurses) in the US.
